Jazbo's Poker Trip Reports
Circa 1995
When I first started playing serious poker, and discovered
rec.gambling (this was pre-r.g.p.), I posted a series of trip
reports to the newsgroup. I'm grateful to Dan Kimberg for
capturing and archiving these (see the BORG,
Best of Rec.Gambling). After some light re-editing, I'm
putting those trips up here for those that might be interested.
If I find the time, I'll try searching for some other similar
posts from by-gone years.
- My first immersion into California Bay Area
poker is recorded in my Jazbo Does
the Bay trip report.
- A few months later, I took advantage of a trip to attend
a conference in Las Vegas to get in a little poker, chronicled
in Jazbo in Wonderland.
- My first experience in outside-the-USA poker is recorded
in my Jazbo in Ottawa. This was
a truly super time to by playing --- just after poker was
legalized in a new area!
